How to Tie Stopper Knots

Stoppers knots are used to help create a sliding float and it’s used as the stopper. Other items may be used, but when you come across a time and you don’t have any other device, you will always have your line.

Perfect for novice anglers, the Lewers stopper is easy to tie, strong and the most versatile stopper knot.

Wrap a seven inch piece of monofilament around the line as indicated below.

Wrap the tag ends around each other twice, interlocking the turns and forming a double overhand knot.
