White Bass have been transplanted to many other lakes and rivers, Bass Fishing Gurus is focused on covering the major white bass fishing spots.

White Bass are common in the Mississippi Valley, the Ohio Valley, Great Lakes and from the St. Lawrence to Lake Winnipeg and into the Red river basin. Although they are native to Oklahoma, White Bass were not found in great numbers until large reservoirs were constructed. Now they are found state-wide.

They can be found in the following lakes and rivers:

  • Red River from the mouth upstream to and including the Kiamichi River
  • Sabine Lake including the minor coastal drainages west to Galveston Bay
  • Galveston Bay including minor coastal drainages west to mouth of Brazos River
  • Brazos River
  • Colorado River
  • San Antonio Bay including minor coastal drainages west of mouth of Colorado River to mouth of Nueces River
  • Nueces River
